Cloud Backup for Business

Fast, Simple, & Secure

If you were to suffer a data loss from system failure, natural disaster, or a computer hack, what would happen to all of your client files, financial data, and ongoing project information? Even if you have an external hard drive, when was the last time you updated it?

With cloud backup for business, a “snap shot” of your entire network of computers including files, settings, and even where your icons are on your desktop is periodically backed up to the cloud. It can be easily called upon in the event you lose any data and be restored within minutes.

Having your business backed up to the cloud gives you peace of mind that should you suffer a data loss, that your business wouldn’t be in jeopardy.

Did you know? Cloud Colorado offers a 30 day free trial of cloud backup for business for you to try before you buy.

Why use cloud backup?

Most business owners know that it is important for their servers to be backed up, but what about your computers? Though it’s true that quite a bit of your data is stored on your servers and backed up on your network, your computer itself (your icons, your background, all of your settings, your local files, music and pictures you have stored, and all of your software applications) is most likely not being backed up.

If your computer were to crash, get a virus, or simply die, all of that information could be lost. The company data that you’ve saved to your server would still be there if you are saving everything to your server (a big if for many people), but everything else would be gone. You would have to recreate that computer by reloading all of the software and settings. And if you’ve ever had this happen to you, you know that it can take a significant amount of time to do.

So, how do you solve this problem? Simple. You use an imaging software on your computer that automatically takes periodic images of the machine and sends them offsite or to your server for safe keeping. Imaging software takes a “picture” or “snapshot” of your computer so it records it exactly as it is with all of the software, settings and local files you have on it. This way, if your computer ever crashes, there is no need to re-load everything onto it and reconfigure the computer. Simply restore your last “image” from before the crash and your computer can be back to its old self again. This is a huge time saver and can be a life saver when something goes wrong.

Client Testimonials

I have known Jim Bollinger, President of Signal Hill for the past thirteen years. Signal Hill has been an integral part of our IT program during that time. Jim has taken different problems presented to him by this business unit and found creative and innovative solutions to them. In fact, many of the solutions that have been put in place at this business unit have been recognized as a best practice for the entire corporation and have been copied at the other business units around the country. Examples include our salary time card input system, outdoor broadband wireless system we have used at our remote jobsites, and some solutions that at the time were cutting edge like thin client systems and video conferencing. I would highly recommend Signal Hill to any company in need of an IT partner.

Thank you for keeping all our computers running and handling the back ups. These past few months have been great.

When I think back to the days before we hired you and we seemed to have issues of one kind or another almost every day and now everything runs so smoothly that it has given me far more time to concentrate on actually running our business rather than troubleshooting the damn computers all the time.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Cloud Colorado over the past 8 years. During my years as Controller with The Weitz Company, this company provided a variety of IT services including system, software and hardware acquisition and monitoring, custom software creation and programming, and on-site IT administrative personnel. Most recently, he worked me and the CFMA Colorado Chapter Board of Directors to package a webcasting solution for our monthly meetings. I have always found Jim and his staff to be very knowledgeable, customer focused, and attentive. He prides himself on providing service with a friendly, personal touch. I have recommended Jim and his company whenever I encounter a business with an IT need in the past, and will continue to do so without hesitation.
